You’ll find the Cabo Girão Viewpoint just a short 2-minute walk from Village Cabo Girão. We’ll take you to the highest viewpoint in all of Europe, soaring to a staggering 580 meters above sea level. What makes it even more exciting is the famous glass platform, which hangs in the air. This isn’t an experience for the faint-hearted!
Stepping onto that glass platform will make you feel like you’re walking on thin air, offering jaw-dropping views of the Fajãs of Rancho and Cabo Girão.
From this elevated perch, you’ll be treated to awe-inspiring panoramic views of the ocean, as well as the cities of Funchal and Câmara de Lobos, and if you’re a thrill-seeker, you’ll be delighted to know that this spot is a hub for paragliding and base-jumping, thanks to its high altitude and prime location.
